BQL NovemberChallenge

This is my mini quilt for the BQL November challenge.
I have never attempted Drunkards Path before but it didn't work out too badly. Was also very pleased to have got it all finished on day 1!!!

October Quilt challenge

The BQL October challenge involves windmills.
Used a favourite piece of fabric I've been keeping for years. The colour is very autumnal and it has a gold overly which is suggestive of spiders webs.

September challenge

This is my quiltlet for the BQL September Challenge.

I used leftover fabric from a workshop with Eleanor Burns in Houston at the 2005 (?) Quilt Festival.

Not particularly happy with the corners - used double fold binding which made it too thick and bulky. Accuracy was helped with foundation piecing. Used "wreath type quilting to contrast the linear log cabin.

The slightly furry appearance is due to my kitten finding the quilt before I got to photograph it.

The letter "T"

My offering for the EG exhibition at Westpoint.
The theme is a 7" x 5" letter of the alphabet.
